2019 State of the Outdoors

You're invited to the Third Annual State of the Outdoors on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the Pikes Peak Outdoor Recreation Alliance (PPORA) and the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC. The event will be held at the Colorado Springs City Auditorium.
 
The first hour will highlight the Pikes Peak region’s outdoor businesses, nonprofits, and land management entities with an Outdoor Community Expo. Network with the outdoor community and learn how your company can benefit from their offerings; perhaps you’re looking for an outdoor experiential activity, an alternative to golf with clients, corporate volunteer opportunities, or an alternative to your annual company picnic. The expo will be followed by a keynote address from Betsy Markey, executive director of Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Markey will share Colorado’s economic development landscape, the outdoor recreation industry’s role, and how important it is for communities to support this industry.
