About the Speakers:
Chris Cipoletti (Pioneer Fund) is the principal consultant for Cipoletti Consulting and he currently serves as Vice Chair of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute and as the President of Pikes Peak Public Market. Cipoletti Consulting provides strategic and business planning, organizational development, leadership and management training, executive coaching and resource development. Chris has also served as Executive Director of a national nonprofit organization, an adjunct faculty member for Regis University in its Global Leadership Program, and a private practice attorney. With his background, Chris brings a unique perspective to his practice, combining legal skills with his leadership and planning skills to benefit the organizations with which he works. Chris completed his undergraduate degree with a B.A. in the General Program of Liberal Studies at the University of Notre Dame and received his law degree from Notre Dame Law School.
Scott Van Ness (UCCS) is an Instructor of Operations Management. In this capacity, Scott teaches courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Quantitative Methods and Service Management. His courses are core courses required of all students pursuing degrees in the College of Business at UCCS.
Before coming to UCCS, Scott spent over 25 years working in the field of supply chain management and distributions operations. Scott also spent 21 years in the US Air Force, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel. Scott currently owns and operates multiple small businesses. He is the CEO of Biz Lending Pro, Inc., a national commercial brokerage specializing in all aspects of commercial lending. He is also the owner of Van Ness Lean Six Sigma Consulting and is holds professional certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
