Kate Perdoni, Executive Director of the Pikes Peak Arts Council and a Television producer with Rocky Mountain PBS
 
Topic: I'll provide an overview of the Pikes Peak Arts Council's work in 2017 (including educational seminars, artist networking, the PPAC MicroGrant program, and more), and what's ahead in 2018 as we move into our 50th year! I'll highlight the work of local artists, especially our ArtPOP program (20 unique pop-up events taking place throughout October for Arts Month in the Pikes Peak region in collaboration with the Cultural Office). 

 Biography: Kate Perdoni is the Executive Director of the Pikes Peak Arts Council and a television producer with Rocky Mountain PBS, hosting and creating segments for the weekly arts and cultural show Arts District. Kate is a rock musician on Bar/None Records, a freelance writer and journalist, and a mother. She has served as Vice Chair the City of Colorado Springs' Public Art Commission since August 2015, and was named a Colorado Springs Business Journal Rising Star of 2017.
