About Kent Fortune:
Kent Fortune serves as the Regional Vice President of USAA’s Colorado Springs Campus. Kent provides leadership to approximately 1,800 employees across Colorado Springs and approximately 500 Member Service Professionals across other USAA locations.
As Regional Vice President, Kent serves as the on-site senior officer responsible for ensuring focus and alignment with USAA’s mission, core values, sales and service philosophy, as well as shaping the culture. He is responsible for site management and external community, military and government relations.
Kent has nearly 29 years of insurance experience with USAA. Kent began his career with USAA in 1989 at the Colorado Springs Campus in Banking Insurance Solutions (BIS) as an Auto Member Service Representative. He has worked in a variety of different offices during his career with USAA to include: Seattle, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Antonio and Colorado Springs. Kent has held numerous positions and leadership roles within BIS.
Kent is currently serving on three boards -- Pikes Peak United Way, Pikes Peak American Red Cross, and Colorado Springs Military Affairs Council. He was also appointed to the Colorado Springs Comprehensive Plan Executive Steering Committee by the Mayor and is Air Force Reserve partner with the 302nd Wing at Peterson AFB. Prior to that he was the Air Education and Training Command Civic Leader for the 306th Wing at the United States Air Force Academy. Kent is passionate about the military and making a difference in the lives of USAA members, employees and the community. He earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Kent is married to Stephannie and they enjoy traveling and giving back to the community.
