Michelle Jacobsen is the Director of the Mountain States Employers Council (MSEC) Colorado Springs office. Michelle earned her B.A. and J.D. from the University of Wyoming and she is licensed to practice law in Wyoming and Colorado. Michelle holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP). In the past, Michelle served as General Counsel for a large community bank and as a Compliance Officer investigating wage and discrimination complaints. Michelle is a graduate of the Leadership Pikes Peak 2016 Signature Program and now serves on the LPP Board of Directors. Since 2005, Michelle has enjoyed helping clients with various employment law and HR issues and representing organizations before state and federal administrative agencies.
