Presented by the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC's Small Business Advisory Council, this Chamber Connect will be a roundtable format featuring four different speakers who will discuss how to proactively plan for your holiday/Q4 marketing.
 
Join us on September 16, 2021 to learn:
  • Ideas, tips, and best practices for networking and other events to support company marketing campaigns for the Holidays.
  • Online efforts, tools, and strategies to increase business both organically as well as strategies for online advertising and how best to maximize time and budget.
  • Traditional media outlet advertising to include printed publications, radio, television, and billboard advertising, with rough costs to provide insight into what direction is best for businesses to gain exposure and customers.

Derek is a Colorado Springs Native and President of Sales and Marketing with Next Level Management and Consulting.  Derek has 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and consulting with multiple fortune 1000 companies after owning a construction company for 6 years prior.  Owning and working in small business and for large corporations has provided insight and experience in what systems, technologies and capabilities work for small and large businesses. With Next Level, he helps locally owned businesses improve their SEO, online presence, and reputation, increase brand awareness, online impressions, engagement and ultimately convert online efforts into revenue for businesses.
 
Dennis Kater - CEO of The Colorado Small Government Contractor Collaborative, aka “The Smalls”, and Director, Business Development at Quantum Research International.
 
The Smalls assists the Government Contractor Ecosystem, consisting of Primes, Small Government Contractors, Service Providers, Support Organizations, and Manufacturers, across the Rocky Mountain Region, to network, collaborate, and grow!  The Smalls hosts monthly events in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo, Quarterly Prime Engagement Events, and an Annual Government Outreach event, as well as a weekly Podcast, i.e. the “Smallscast”.  Additionally, the Smalls collaborates and supports the planning and execution of other Government Ecosystem events.  Dennis will facilitate discussions and ideation of networking or other events to support company marketing campaigns for the Holidays.
 
Amy Gillentine Sweet - Publisher and Executive Editor of the Colorado Springs Business Journal, Independent and Military Newspaper Group.

Amy Gillentine is the publisher and executive editor of Colorado Publishing House, a group of eight newspapers, websites and social media platforms that seek to inform, educate, and entertain residents of the Pikes Peak region. She is a member of the boards for the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado and Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center and is a graduate of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute program.
